This is the belief of Maria E. Martinez, founder of Naturally Green Products.

Q. Why did Maria E. find it necessary to create a comprehensive line of EPA registered Disinfectants and (DFE) "Design for the Environment" and USDA's BioPreferred green formulated cleaning products?

A. Maria owned a commercial janitorial company for over 20 years and most recently experienced a LEED Certified (gold) green building which had Indoor Air Quality sensors throughout. These sensors would set off an alarm when ever a ‘Volatile Organic Compound’ was present in the air. The search for a truly green product was exhausting.

From the sheer frustration of looking for and using products which made claims of being certified as ‘green’ and discovering that they set off these alarms, Maria went in search of an Organic Chemical Engineer to partner with in creating a comprehensive line of products- in partnership with the EPA’S ‘Design For The Environment” (DFE) program for ‘green’ formulation. The process of formulation, testing and registration with the EPA took 18 months resulting in an incredible line of 32 products for ALL cleaning requirements, which out performs most non-green products in the marketplace today. Our Disinfectants meet AOAC efficacy standards for hospital disinfectants, killing 100% of viruses including the H1N1 virus.
